Scot Nicol started Ibis in the Santa Cruz area, handmade frames, long before Santa Cruz the brand was the default name for that town. Ibis is the older one, 1981, and they stayed a mountain-bike company. Mojo is the name people know. They were welding in Northern California when mountain bikes were still a local argument.
