The factory is Taiwanese. Kinesis Industry came out of Giant people, and Kinesis UK is the British face of that plant. It is a factory brand, not a Yorkshire artisan town. Aluminum road and gravel, the Tripster and the rest. If you liked a Kinesis, you liked a Taiwanese tubeset with a UK office.
