Kuota showed up in 2001 in Villasanta, which is late for an Italian race brand, and a lot of the old-guard write-ups treat that like a knock. It isn't. They make carbon road bikes, which is what they were for from the start, and gravel only showed up later the same way it did on everyone else's catalog.
