The Lynskeys were welding titanium in Tennessee in 1986 under the Litespeed name, out of the Chattanooga area, Ooltewah if you want the actual town. They got there early on production ti road bikes. The company later sold and kept the name. Tennessee titanium is still what people mean when they say Litespeed.
