Niner showed a 29er at Sea Otter in 2005 and spent years defending wheel size before gravel showed up and they had a second argument. The idea started around Interbike 2004 in California. Headquarters later moved to Fort Collins. The RLT line is how a lot of drop-bar riders met them.
