Norco

Norco is Northern Counties, a Port Coquitlam company, one of the old Canadian ones. 1964, which is earlier than most of the mountain-bike story. They started as a shop and distributor in BC and grew into a brand. People treat them like a generic Canadian label, but they were a retailer first, and the factory-town version is the later chapter.
