Orange is from Halifax, West Yorkshire, which is a mill town, not a citrus grove and not the south of France. They've been a British mountain-bike company for a long time, steel then alloy, and they never bothered to pretend they were from anywhere prettier. Alpine, Five, the names people know, and the company is still in Halifax.
