Bob Parlee came out of boat composites and founded Parlee in Massachusetts in 2000 to put that carbon knowledge on a bicycle. The shop is on the North Shore, Beverly if you are being exact. The frames are custom carbon, made in the US, and the company stayed small. He was late to the carbon rush and still got taken seriously.
