Ernesto Colnago's father cut down a mulberry tree to make him a workbench. That was Cambiago, and the shop date Colnago uses is 1954, after he'd already been building wheels at home because a crash kept him out of the Gloria factory. People push the start earlier. They make race bikes, and C40 is the one everyone still talks about.
