Nukeproof is a Hotlines brand. Hotlines is a UK distributor, Northern Ireland, and they needed their own mountain-bike label to sit next to the imports. That's the origin, not a secret factory in the Mournes. A lot of British riders raced Nukes because the distributor could get bikes to shops. It is a shop-family brand, not a founder-in-a-shed story.
