Spot started in Canada as a singlespeed brand, Michael Golinski and Jessica Stein, and then it moved to Golden, Colorado, and the Avid family bought it. Wayne Lumpkin, the brake guy. So the origin is Vancouver-ish and the company you actually deal with is Golden, which is the second chapter, not the first, even if people just say Colorado.
