Transition is a Bellingham company, and that's the sentence. They started making mountain bikes in a town that already had a scene, and they stayed, which is why the Pacific Northwest story and the brand are the same thing, Sentinel and Patrol being the names people know. Not Seattle, Bellingham, the smaller wet city near the border.
