Marcus Pürner started Cube in a 50-square-meter corner of his father's furniture factory, in Waldershof in 1993, a German town most write-ups skip so they can just say Germany. They make basically everything now, road and gravel and mountain and a pile of e-bikes. The factory ate the town.
