Factor started in a Norfolk industrial unit in 2007, an offshoot of bf1systems, the F1 electronics shop, John Bailey's project. Rob Gitelis bought it in 2015 and that's the version that actually got produced in volume. Ostro and O2 on the road, LS for gravel. The UK origin story and the Taiwan factory are both true.
