Orbea made guns for about ninety years before they made bikes. 1840, the Basque Country, Mallabia, and they switched to bicycles in the 1930s when the arms business dried up. The company is a worker cooperative now. Orca on the road, Terra for gravel, and a real mountain-bike line.
