Loading geometry
Gen 5 drops IsoSpeed and the downtube hatch. Comfort now comes from 35 mm tires, a flexing 27.2 mm post, and a 20 mm riser bar. The bike is lighter and snappier than the 2026 Domane, still upright next to a Madone, and simpler to service.
All-day road riders and gran fondo people who found Madone too low. Anyone who wanted Émonda simplicity with endurance stack. If you need frame storage and dirt geometry, Checkpoint is still the Trek for that.

2026 was Trek Black. 2027 opens the SL range with Matte Deep Smoke, Purple, and White / Gold.
IsoSpeed is gone. Trek cut the old 44–61 run to six sizes (XS, S, M, ML, L, XL), opened clearance to 40 mm, and dropped the downtube hatch. The chart is shorter and slightly racier than 2026.
Stock rubber goes from 32 mm to 35 mm. The IsoSpeed mast is a normal 27.2 mm post. Most builds get a 20 mm riser bar and shorter cranks. A Tiagra SL 4 and a Force 1x13 SL 7 are new at the ends of the range.
