We don't know yet. The press and Scott have been tight-lipped. But we bet there's going to be some fun to be had now that 32" wheels seem to be making their way over from mountain bikes to gravel.

What changed in the bike frame

The leaked bikes look like a full redesign, not another paint-and-UDH refresh. Nino Schurter's Rift frameset and the Unbound 32" Racing Concept share the new Addict road-bike language: a fatter down tube that may hide storage, more tire room than today's 45 mm bike, and a more aero, integrated front end with a short, forward-extended head tube. Scott spent real carbon molds to prove 32" wheels and 50 mm rubber at Unbound, then put a conventional-wheel version under Schurter in Iceland. Officially those 32" bikes are "never coming to market," and testers are still under an early-September embargo. Read between the lines: the production 2027 Addict Gravel is likely to inherit the new shape, extra clearance, and at least the option of bigger wheels.
