Canyon

Canyon's founding year is messy. The shop in Koblenz was Radsport Arnold, started in 1985 by Roman Arnold and his brother selling parts. They put Canyon on a bike in 1996 and only changed the company name in 2002, so a lot of write-ups say 2002, which is the rename, not the start. They sell direct, and they make a lot of bikes that way: road, gravel, mountain, a CX bike. The names pile up after a while, Ultimate and Aeroad and Grail and Grizl, Spectral, Strive.
